  12. I  decided  to make this icon after finding other people's efforts to be rather
  13. disappointing  -  most of them were scaled down and re-rendered versions of the
  14. title screen and/or NewIcons. Agh! No! Get back! ;)
  15.  
  16. My  icon is based on the Doom logo (included). I scaled it down and rendered it
  17. in  the  MWB  palette  with ImageFX. However, it is almost completely re-drawn,
  18. making it look rather smart-o-neat. Okay, so I'm making a big deal of something
  19. as trivial as an icon, but IMHO this is the only one that has had a fair amount
  20. of effort lavished on it. That's right - I care.

  22. However,  you  may dislike it because it's a tad big (143x79), or maybe because
  23. it's  a MWB icon. If so, contact your doctor immediately - these conditions are
  24. known to be symptoms of severe life-threatening mental illness. ;)

  28. Oh,  if  you do like it though, why not EMail me and say so? I'd like that. You
  29. don't even have to be polite.

  31. As  you would expect, this icon is free and all that, so you can use and modify
  32. it  for  your  own  purposes. Just don't pretend it's all your own work. People
  33. would  find  out.  And  then what? Huh? (answers on a ferris wheel to the usual
  34. address).

  36. The archive listing should be very similair to this. If not, you've been ripped
  37. off, son.

  62. Hmm-hah's  and  harrumphs  to  "EX  Amiga  LUSER"  who  made some very fooleesh
  63. comments  about  Amiga Quake. I bet he's feelin' a right charlie now! I hope he
  64. dies in a horrific tree-felling accident. Or maybe it won't be an accident. ;)
